Are the Treasury and Pentagon on speaking terms?

Well after writing about the Nouveau Rice yesterday, today I am doing a quickie after learning that another liberal lover of war is taking over as UN ambassador when Rice moves up the chain of the Damned.  As the American economy slides back into stagnation I am curious if the treasury and pentagon/secretary of state are on speaking terms, or maybe they plan to finance future military actions with flogged off spare general motors' parts?

Samantha Power: "War is peace"

Well apparently, according to that bastion of economic accuracy, the IMF, the US has self-inflicted wounds due to cutting the government expenditure too fast. On a qucik side note; I never understood something about keynesianism. Why does it have to be deficit funded government expenditure, why not have deficit funded tax cuts? lower government expenditure slower than you lower government revenue? seems to me it would have the same effect except better because it would go through the free market and not go into another government fuck up; something that cost too much and was never wanted in the first place. Heard that Sweden done something like deficit funded tax cuts and they are doing really stellar.

So back on point, apparently Power wants us to intervene as soon as something abroad happens that we don't like. The wars on the horizon just keep mounting, Syria, Sudan and Iran... will it be all 3 or a pic n' mix, will there be allies, or will it be a solo mission? no idea, it will be super expensive and add 100s of billions to the debt though, that is a given.

can't the US just have allies that have similar values and are democratic and peaceful, make a pact that if one gets attacked then we all help? maybe include Germany, Britain and France, summin' like that.. its a long shot... BUT OH Wait we have it and its called NATO. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!?!?!?!

UGHHHH I wish we could have just relaxed after the cold war ended instead of all this stupid romping and rioting through the 3rd world while drowning in  17trillion dollars of debt.

Here is a big Brazilian to cheer us up, we should invite them to join NATO.

  1. First, let be thank you for recent visits to my "Obama Cartoons" site. I seldom visit other sites usually just to return a visit. Those Brazilian babes are hot. As for spending money on foreign wars---I will agree that when you only go to war to protect the status quo they are foolish. As a Russian general said when presented with a group of captured French soldiers during Napolean's retreat from Moscow and was asked what to do with them, his reply was simple and to the point---"shoot them, I don't take prisoners. War is not a game. If more people would treat it for what it is we would have fewer."
